Johannes Uhl is an international energy policy expert at Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. He advises the German Federal Foreign Office on the intersection of the energy transition and foreign policy.
Previously, Johannes Uhl worked at the regional economics ministry of the German state of Thuringia and the European Parliament. He holds an MSc degree in Democracy and Comparative Politics from University College London and an undergraduate degree in physics and political science from Freie Universität Berlin.
